So not my usual happy fashion oriented post. I guess im  in my feelings so to speak today I've come to realize you can help people to the point you helping them leads them to believe they're entitled to your assistance. That is the problem I've ran into lately I've helped a person to the point that they think they're entitled to my whole paycheck. I think I'm gonna stop helping people out financially from here on out even though some people need assistance the best thing I can do is offer a solution to their problem and stop fixing it because the same way I get up and go to work 5 days a week they can also get a job. I seriously dislike feeling used and abused I'm a huge advocate of community service that's the main reason I joined my sorority in college because above everything else service was our main mission partying and hanging out were a distant second and third respectively.  Oh let's see I need something to lighten the mood oh I know Old Navy is having a sale so go grab some goodies and I'm in love with the new Revlon limited edition lipglosses coupons are availible online that take $3.00 off the purchase price.  So until next time remember to say NO to clothes and YES to FASHION!!!!

Oh me Oh my

I started out with a clean face.  I cleanse with Cetaphil and moisturize with Virgin Coconut Oil.

1. I brush the bronzer all over my face.  I make sure to get my eyelids and neck area.
2. Blush definitely goes on the apples of my cheeks, the top of my forhead, a little on my nose, and hit the bottom of my chin.
3. I use the shimmery Mac Woodwinked eyeshadow to make my eyes pop.  Start on the inside of your eye, a little on your brow bone, and a little on the outer edge of your eye.  You'll def see a difference then.
4. Next I use the palette from the Big Beautiful Eyes set to do a natural shadow to easily blend in the shimmer from my brow bone and inside corner of my eye.  After that I groom my eyebrows and fill in the sparse parts with the brow shadow.  Its the darkest shade from that palette.
5. Next is mascara.  Some people just do two swipes and thats it, but I like to take my time and really coat the lashes.  If you are looking for some kind of natural looking lash extension, this mascara is for you.  It will thicken the lashes and makes the appearance of long, lush lashes once you're done.  Its a great brand if you are looking for that sort of thing.
6.  Last but not least, some shimmery pink lip gloss.  I listed the Chanel one because thats the one I use and love, but really any brand will do.




This is just what I do for everyday, of course sometimes I like to vamp it up with a cat eye liner or do a smoky eye depending on the mood and what type of day it it.  But I highly encourage people to experiment and see what works for them.  Sometimes, just going to the MAC store, Sephora, or a department store makeup counter and have them do a make over for you will help you get lots of cool ideas for make up.

Swimsuit of the Week

Everyone is always looking for that perfect bathing suit. The one that they can slide on without feeling dread and despair. The one that allows them to actually enjoy the sun without the  constant tugging and tucking. Chica's, I think I have found that suit.


There are many teeny tiny bathing suits, finding them is not a problem. Having time to work out five times a week and prepare overly healthy meals to achieve a bikini bod is. So, for the more realistic body types with curves, here is a bathing suit that you can drink a pina coloda in without feeling guilty. Mmmm, pina coloda.


This tummy tucking miracle suit is not only stylish, but literally has a panel around your mid-section to tuck you in! Ah, how the gains of modern science have truly helped us all!! The full coverage of the suit (including the backside) accentuate your hour glass figure while allowing you to be comfortable because everything is in place. As I discussed in my "Perfect Tank Top" post, the rouching and ruffle dead center only help in your quest to look more slender. When the material is bunched up as such, it detracts from any extra pounds you may have on your mid-section. The ruffle is drawing the eye to the center of your frame only again slenderizing your body. A wider sweetheart neckline is the perfect top to this figure flattering suit. It makes sure that "the girls" are in place while giving just a hint of cleavage. The key is to be comfortable, not hide your sex appeal!!!


With this great line of bathing suits going up to a size 16, it is appropriate for all curvaceous body types who want to get a little sun. The only thing that is not included is a big brim sun hat and spf 30!

Will $39.95 find me the perfect pair of shoes?

Hey Chica's.

I was asked for my opinion on Shoe Clubs, okay we've all seen the commercials, or pop up ads on facebook for sites like Just Fab or Shoe Dazzle and the prospect of Kim Kardashian or some other celebrity stylist suggesting a pair of shoes for you may appeal to you but what you should be asking yourself is am I paying for quality or just the celebrity.

Yes, some of the shoes are CUTE but more often than not they are shoes that you can purchase from a number  of retailers for a cheaper price.  I've been tempted myself by a number of the shoes I've seen on these sites but I also noticed the fine print on the service.

Be aware that your credit card is charged the fee every month unless you click the link in your email that you want to skip a month.  Sure they say that the charge leads to a credit in your shoe account but lets be honest for a moment $40 a month adds up extremely quickly.

I've had several friends that have joined these services and have been disappointed and I have tried on the shoes that they have received and I would rate the quality and comfort a 5.2 out of a possible perfect 10.

I suggest that instead of a shoe service that you browse DSW or Macys they both offer a wide selection of shoes and the CLEARANCE section is PURE HEAVEN on the 15th of each month! 

Ultimately the finals decision is yours whether or not you join a shoe service but I do propose that you look at what they're offering and find a shoe in a similar style.

You will see below that I have searched and found similar shoes and noted the price beside one.

Makeup Look of the Day: Caribbean Sunset Eyes

 The trend for summer is a really BOLD eye with a nude or natural lip and quite a few chica's want to use bold eye shadow colors for the summer but are afraid they can't pull it off.
